The generosity of others is at the core of the Y’s existence as a nonprofit. It is only through the support of our volunteers and public and private donors that we are able to support and give back to the communities we engage.

At the Canandaigua Y we provide opportunities for spiritual, mental and physical growth. Memberships and programs are available to everyone, thanks to the generous contributions to our annual scholarship campaign.

We help youth reach their potential through YOUTH DEVELOPMENT. We help families make healthy choices through HEALTHY LIVING. We help the community achieve more through SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT.

Financial Assistance Program made possible by our Annual Campaign

We are able to provide financial assistance to individuals and families who otherwise would not be able to afford a membership to the Y. Our financial assistance program is funded by donations to our Annual Campaign. Financial Assistance is granted on the basis of need and available resources. Individuals and families need to hand in proper documentation to prove need and go through an interview process.

We truly are a community organization making sure that everyone has an opportunity to attend the Y!
