HOMESCHOOL ENRICHMENT – Join in September for the 2011-2012 School Year
For Homeschool Students K – 12
Please join us if your children are ages 5 and up (need to be five by January 1, 2011). Let the Y cover your Music, Art and PE requirements this school year! Put “Canandaigua YMCA Homeschool Program”on your IHIP.

BONUS – Throughout the year look for special activities that will cover other NYS requirements including: Bike safety, high-way safety & traffic regulations, fire safety and humane treatment of animals. (Times and dates to be announced.)

MUSIC - Certified music teacher and Kindermusik teacher Mrs.Woodard will be joining us this year to explore music through rhythm, movement and creativity.

PE – Coach Tim (A PE education student) is also joining our homeschool team to bring us a year of life sports, physical fitness and team sports with an emphasis on team building.

ART – Certified teacher Mrs. Bagley will be returning again this year to teach “Artists Throughout History”. There is lots to learn about many famous artists and then plenty of time to apply what has been learned with hands on projects. Miss Candy, Miss Dawn and Miss Debi will all return as well. They will each guide one of the three age groups through their afternoon of fun and learning.

There will be an hour of family swim time in the smaller pool after pick up to end your day if you wish!
